 1) Roundtable Discussion facilitated by David Rossinow, Education Chair including two electrical quizzes, a "What Wrong with this Panel?" quiz (complete with photos of panel problems) and a "Guess the Wire Size" hands on quiz. 

2) An Electrical Overview forHome Inspectors -- Panel Problems and Safety on the Job wihth Russ LeBlanc

Russ Leblanc will speak about service panels, correct installation, common mistakes and short cuts, and general safety for home inspectors when inspecting electrical systems.

About Russ Leblanc:  In 1999, Russ became an Electrical Instructor for The Peterson School of Engineering in Woburn, MA where he developed his passion for teaching and quickly became Department Head of Electrical Instruction. He is also the owner of LeBlanc Consulting Services which specializes in electrician training and education. Since 2005 he has been an author and consultant for Electrical Construction & Maintenance Magazine. Russ is an active member of the Electrical Section of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and has authored hundreds of changes to the National Electrical Code through public advocacy. Russ is also a member and certified Electrical Inspector for the International Association of Electrical Inspectors (IAEI). In 2017 he co-authored the textbook Basic Checklists For Building Electrical Inspection 4th Edition and in 2018 he published his own textbook Practical Safety for Electricians, a Compilation of OSHA Electrical Safety Rules.

Program Approved for 3 CEUs in MA, NH and CT and for 3 CEs by ASHI 

COST and Registration Deadlines: 

The EARLY BIRD cost for ASHI-New England dues paid Members is $50, and it expires at 11 PM on Friday, November 29. The EARLY BIRD fee for Massachusetts State Trainees and Associates is $35. The Non-Member fee is $75. After November 29, the cost is $75 for ALL. Online and advance registration ends at 5:00 p.m. Monday, December 2.

Advance reservations are required! We regret that walk-ins cannot be guaranteed a seat or a meal.

MA Home Inspector Trainees
Are you or someone you know a MA home inspector trainee (not yet licensed) and not yet a chapter member?  If so, you may register for $35 and indicate your status on your form(s). Trainees who register after the early-bird deadline will be subject to the higher ($75) fee just like all others.
